I first met the lovely Clara & James at a sweet little Portuguese bakery in Cardiff. I always think it's important to click with clients - I'm the one they'll be spending most of the day with so it's nice to get on. Clara and James are definitely my type of couple: laid back, sweet, and with the right idea of how a wedding should be!
I was greeted at Rosedew by Clara and her girls including family from Ireland sat around the table in the shade outside prepping some of the flowers and some inside getting glam. I wondered around the grounds choosing to do the detail shots outside in the sunshine. Clara had chosen white and gold shoes, a minimal stunning dress complimented with sparkly accessories and a unique bouquet containing succulents. Her bridesmaids dressed in floaty blush pink dresses and James in a dapper blue suit.
I couldn't get enough of the flowers they chose to decorate - the colours just worked so well together.
After the ceremony, I always encourage my couples to mingle, hug and chat with their guests before we do any formal bits, and it was great to see them all enjoy this moment. A few formal and not so formal group shots later it was time for Clara and James to have some alone time with me. We explored Rosedew farm as well as the fields and had an audience of cows!
After a bit of wining and dining came the speeches and a little trip in my car down to the beach! Clara and James were great sports and climbed over the rocks to get those perfect summer evening shots.
The night kicked off with some serious drinking and dancing and topped off with a fabulous confetti bomb (thanks to DJ Pure) which made those first dance shots even more perfect!
Clara & James were so sweet and so easy to work with - they clearly had the best day of their lives.
