Oxwich Bay Hotel
Becky & Alex decided to get married by the sea at Oxwich Bay hotel after falling in love with the place but had to have their ceremony at a church that meant so much to Becky in St Llawddog Church in Penboyr. This meant a bit of travelling for me (which I love, by the way) so I booked a hotel near by. After a cheeky wine and a catch up with the blogging, I got my rest ready for the next day.
I met Becky at her parents beautiful home next door to a field of sheep and was greeted with smiles and fuss from Becky's mum. Becky had chosen such a gorgeous dress that suited her down to the ground and her bridesmaids dressed in stunning blue 20s style scalloped sleeved dresses.
I headed up to the church and parked in a field and ran back to the church entrance just in time to see the bride and the gang arrive in their rented VW camper.
St Llawddog looked amazing decorated in wild flowers and was packed with smiling guests. The ceremony was followed by singing by the couples friends that gave us all goosebumps.
A long old drive came next to Oxwich Bay hotel where guests were met with jars of Pimms and beer. The marquee decorated with gorgeous wild flowers and the theme: travel. The couple used places that had meaning to label the tables and a map as their table plan.
Time to get some groups done and we all headed to the beach (despite a bit of drizzle!) . Becky & Alex weren't ones for posing so we got some key shots and headed back to the marquee to enjoy some dinner, speeches and dancing!
